Description of activities: You are a member of a foundation board that largely determines the policy of the recycling center Eemnes en Huizen and monitors the implementation of that policy, the so-called remote management. The daily management of the 2 locations of the recycling center is in the hands of a director.

Specifics: The recycling center Eemnes en Huizen strives to improve the environment through reuse and recycling of waste and to provide employment for people who are at a distance from the regular labor market. In addition, charities are supported annually. It is a professionally managed and financially sound company with approximately 130 employees and volunteers, mostly part-time. It is a non-profit foundation, board members are not remunerated, except for necessary expenses.

Time commitment: The board meets 6 times a year in the evenings. In addition, there are sometimes other meetings, such as an annual meeting with all employees and volunteers. Average time required: one half day per month (Including preparation and meeting).
