The Home Administration project focuses on the growing number of people who are unable or hardly able to keep their own finances in order. Bills are no longer paid and options for compensation, for example, are not used. Support is needed to prevent worse.
The approach is accessible and personal, with the intention that those who are helped will be able to do it alone within the foreseeable future. There is currently room for expansion in our volunteer team in the Parkstad department (Parkstad working area) and that is why we are looking for you to strengthen our team as:
Volunteer Home Administration Coordinator
(approx. 8 hours per week)
The function:
· Leading the project based on a work plan
· Recruitment & selection of participants and volunteers in the work area
· Organizing team meetings and promoting expertise
· Carrying out intake interviews of new participants and volunteers
· Together with the department management, build and maintain a network with relevant organizations and take care of publicity
· Taking care of the promotion of the activity together with the board
· Registration and reporting of relevant information
· Periodic consultation with the board, volunteers and participation in case consultations with our partners
What do we ask:
· Working from the values of Humanitas
· Good communication and social skills
· Knowledge of financial matters/regulations and/or debt assistance
· Leadership qualities to manage a team of volunteers
· Experience with project-based work and coordination
· Affinity with welfare work
· Knowledge of the social map of the region is an advantage
· Able to work independently
· Be able to submit a certificate of conduct (VOG).
