Summary
We would like a visiting volunteer/buddy who can undertake leisure activities with the client.Detailed description
It can be very broad and can be coordinated in mutual consultation and vary from going to the city together for a drink to having a nice chat together in the client's apartment.
Getting clients out of their isolation a bit more and increasing contact with society.
It is important for the volunteer to be aware of the fact that he was a healthy (young) man who, because of his illness, had to make a considerable sacrifice and who still has a lot of difficulty with this. This 'difficulty with' manifests itself mainly in verbal frustration and annoyance and the inability to take things as they are.
