Summary

Contribute to the reputation of the House of Nijmegen History, an accessible place for meeting and cultural history!

Detailed description

Do you have a heart for culture, heritage and history? Then contribute to our accessible location for encounters and cultural history! The House of Nijmegen History is looking for a Marketing & Communications volunteer for contact with traditional media.

In the Mariënburg Chapel in the heart of Nijmegen, the House of Nijmegen History creates a place where everyone is welcome to discover the rich past of our region, to tell your story and to develop yourself. Our exhibitions and activities are for and by all Nijmegen residents. We take an active and involved role in the heritage field and seek connections with residents, visitors, entrepreneurs and other institutions.

What are you going to do?

Within the Marketing & Communication volunteer team, you jointly devise and develop new campaigns and expressions. Within the implementation, you are particularly involved with the classical media, such as daily newspapers, local newspapers, radio and television.

What do we have to offer?

You will join a small team of mainly students and starters, within which you will be given the opportunity to gain practical experience and further develop yourself. The team is part of a friendly group of volunteers who are committed to culture and heritage in our region with great enthusiasm.

Got excited? Respond immediately! We would like to invite you for an introduction!

About Huis van de Nijmeegse Geschiedenis

The House of Nijmegen History is the starting point for anyone who wants to know more or who wants to tell about the history of the oldest city in the Netherlands.

We tell the story of Nijmegen by highlighting a different part of Nijmegen's history, without a permanent collection, in order to be able to tell the story of, for, by and about the people of Nijmegen. You are not only welcome to visit our exhibitions and lectures, but also for questions or a chat about personal experiences.
